I just remembered....
why I don't watch television (especially national network news). We had the TV on to see if it was going to be 102 or 104 this afternoon and when we might get some rain and then it happened...
The national news came on with their exaggerated leads which caught my attention tonight because it mentioned a horrible day on Wall Street because of fears related to housing and potential crises related to mortgage availability. So there I was wasting 5 minutes of my day glued to the tube to get slanted media that suggests there is no end in sight to how far this might go. I struggle to put their lack of substance in words.
Please remind me next time you see me to leave the TV off more...

No kidding. TV news is HORRIBLE. I stopped watching many years ago after ABC did a 30 minute commercial for the elimination of the death penalty with 5 seconds given to the alternative view.
Turn it off!

Hey Bud,
Turn to TV off and step away! Just kidding, but I would totally agree with you. Aside from sports stats, and the weather most news especially national is slanted.
Take care!

I agree although I have found myself buying into the slant after having our house on the market since April with NO end in sight...but, on this especially difficult day to be a home seller, thanks for reminding me that my hope is not in the national media.
Here's to turning it off.

So, Jenn, I've got a question for you to ask your agent. Since mid-April what has closed in the area where your house is in your price range. I can guarantee you that there is stuff selling. What you need to know as a seller is what that is and how much current competition you are competing with. Let me know what you find out.

Hey Bud
A well-timed post for me! I'm going to ask you to remind me of this if I end up with 2 house payments in the next few months...Exciting days for my household!
