Lake Vacation Homes

My friend is building a home on Center Hill Lake as part of a secluded community with beautiful views.  The photo is of the actual property viewed from our boat.  I am watching his house being built each time I am there (home located at bottom right).

Once complete, he will have the option of putting it in a lake vacation rental plan or keep it just to his family and friends.  As the second home market continues to grow in Tennessee, this is not a bad idea for investment in real estate.

No Bubble in Nashville

  Nashville's healthy real estate market continues to get raving reviews.  Housing Predictor, a website that prides itself on providing "Independent Real Estate Market Forecasts" placed Nashville 11th out of 250 cities nationwide for projected appreciation in 2007.  View their website here.

They do note the Nashville market has cooled in recent months, but expect the summer and fall to be healthy, therefore leading to an overall increase in the market strength.
